Eva-Maria Schmidt is head of the "Careers" department at the editorial office of the German marketing magazine HORIZONT. She is also in charge of the career portal HORIZONTJobs.de at Deutscher Fachverlag, Frankfurt, one of Germany’s leading independent publishing houses. Ms. Schmidt has been an editor with HORIZONT since 1999. Previously, she had gained a degree in Romance studies at Frankfurt’s Goethe University.
